Goldendoodle Pups Due at the End of January

So, a successful breeding session during November 2012 (Click Here) has resulted in Ginger's pregnancy and upcoming litter!  She has handled everything like a champ!  We expect her pups to be here Jan 27, so we will keep you updated and post pictures of the those cute little guys and gals once they are here safely.

We are located in the Southeast Valley in the Phoenix Metro area.

Most are spoken for but we will wait to see how many she has before taking deposits.

This is Ginger's first and only litter.  To see pictures of Dad click here.  Max the goldendoodle is pictured in the last photograph and looks a lot like Ginger.  He is also a first-time Dad.

These are F2B pups.  It can get quite confusing with genetics but I'll try to explain. Max, dad to pups, is a F1 Goldendoodle; his dad was Golden Retriever, his mom was a Standard Poodle (Max is 50% Golden Retriever and 50% Standard Poodle).  Ginger is a F1B Goldendoodle; Dad was 1/2 Golden Retriever and 1/2 Standard Poodle crossed with mom, a Standard Poodle (Ginger is 25% Golden Retriever and 75% Standard Poodle.   

Ginger's pups are 37.5% Golden Retriever and 62.5% Standard Poodle.

Here she is enjoying her last few days of pregnancy.  She is getting lots of good things to eat and becoming a little spoiled with all the attention.  She visited the groomer for a maternity groom.  She is resting a ton and the boys are enjoying her mellow side.  They can even feel her pups moving!  She will be a great mommy.

The Burlap Wreath

We know these burlap wreaths are everywhere, but this one really caught our eye! Saw it at an expensive boutique for over $90.00 and thought... we can make this! Stacie bought 5 yards of burlap at a craft store on sale for $15.00 and a grapevine wreath for $5.00. There is a lot of cutting involved, but with a bowl for a template it was easy. The diameter is about 6 inches (regular cereal bowl will work).  After cutting all your circles you are ready to start gluing! Fold the circles in half and in half again,  glue them to the grapevine wreath. Start in the inner part of the wreath and work your way around to the outer edges. Place the folded burlap as close as you want depending on how full you want it. These are about an inch a part. This process is time consuming and be careful not to burn yourself with the glue, but it sure is cute when it's finished!

Adorn with ribbon or decorate for different occasions and enjoy!
